Casa Guatemala was established in 1977 to provide the malnourished, orphaned and abused children during the brutal civil war with a safe home, nurturing, health care and an education. Today, Casa Guatemala provides quality education, health services, and nutrition to the over 300 children from the 30 surrounding Mayan villages. Their mission is to provide these students with the skills and education needed to become upstanding, empowered citizens in their communities.
