About Oasis of Hope

Oasis of Hope is located in Santa Marta, one of Colombia's least-educated cities and a place where most of its people struggle to have their basic needs met due to conditions such as water scarcity and insufficient sanitation. Oasis of Hope opened its primary school in one of the city’s most impoverished neighborhoods in 2002 and has been helping raise children out of economic, social and physical poverty ever since.
