Since 2006, Village Project Africa’s Heritage Academy Primary School provides year-round education for grades 1st through 6th in Makutano, Kenya. Heritage not only offers an education of the highest degree, but it feeds more than 1,200 students and staff everyday, is home to an on-site health clinic, teaches agriculture at an on-site farm as well as other life skills that will carry students out of their poverty-stricken circumstances and into a promising future.
